First-year undergraduate students will move into residence halls August 14-16 during their scheduled time slot.

Pick up a bucket list playing card at any residence hall front desk or Ask Us Anything tent. Grand prize is a laptop!
Friday, August 15
7-10 p.m., Rec Center
Try intramural sports, "Cross-stitch and Cookies," drop-in pickleball, bracelet making, and Nintendo Switch games. Everyone gets a raffle ticket with drawings every 30 minutes.
Saturday, August 16
10 p.m.-2 a.m., Mountainlair
Don't miss the first WVUp All Night of the year! Enjoy free snacks, games, arts and crafts, and more while getting to know other Mountaineers.
Sunday, August 17-Sunday, August 24
Meet people who share your interests while making new connections on campus and in the community. All activities are free, include transportation and equipment, and require preregistration. Register now!

First-time freshmen event
Experience what it means to be a Mountaineer! You'll have the opportunity to sign your class flag, watch "The Pride of West Virginia" Mountaineer Marching Band perform its pregame show, meet new friends and, of course, get your official class photo taken in the state of West Virginia.

Gates open at 6:30 p.m.
Performances begin at 7 p.m.
Don’t miss our legendary welcome back concert! Spend the evening catching up with friends and meeting new people. FallFest performers and detailed information will be announced the week before the event.

8 a.m.-1 p.m.
First-year undergraduate and transfer students will meet with faculty and administrators from their academic unit. Watch your MIX email for information from your college or school.

3-5 p.m.
Find student groups that match your interests, from academic-focused clubs to groups dedicated to your favorite hobby.

8 p.m., Milan Puskar Stadium
All incoming students, returning students, and faculty and staff (with their families) are invited to join us for a movie at the stadium. The movie will be announced closer to the event and begin at 8:30 p.m.
